I just created a new customized studio desk and my mixer is just in front of a video monitor stand so I didn't want the height of regular XLRs sticking straight up. These are great as the pin directions can be easily changed and I've got these pointing out the back of the mixer or else they would have been impeding other outputs. These are solid and I've got some six-foot Cable Matters XLRs going to the monitor speakers. Fully recommended.

Wanted some short neat cables for a tabletop/countertop setup into 4 input mobile podcast setup. These work wll. The mic plug does not rotate without disassembly which is not an issue on barrel style mics (SM57) because you can just rotate the mic around, but side address or yoke-mounted mics might be an issue. You can unscrew the back and rotate the connector to a degree; they don't twist-click into position. No stars off for that though (it just wasn't immediately clear to me). I didn't get pics of the innards, but the connections to the posts even had heat-shrink on the solder points. Seems some care was put into these cables.
