I am updating my review of this cable to four stars. Originally, I got a defective cable and posted what you see below. I was very impressed when Cable Matters contacted me and offered to provide a replacement. The new cable works as expected - no flickering or green bars. I would like to commend Cable matters for their excellent customer service, and I would say that customers can buy their products with confidence. I did withhold one star, however, because of the initial defective cable.Original post:This cable is defective. It does not work. The color of the screen flashes to green. I changed out to a new cable and monitor worked fine, so it was obviously this cable. Unfortunately I didn't test it out soon enough so I'm unable to return and out of luck. DO NOT BUY.

I've only had these cables for a short time, but they appear to be working just fine. I needed one more monitor for work, and these cables are much cheaper than buying a new monitor.The cables were delivered as promised, and the packaging was what I would normally expect for cables. I don't see any issues with the picture quality, but it IS a VGA monitor. Seem to be working fine for me!

Plugged this in and the display worked just fine. I had an issue with another brand HDMI to VGA cable but, this cable solved my problem. It works absolutely perfect.

I have needed a 10ft VGA cables for years to replace my 6ft. This is more flexible than my older cable and the length lets me move my monitor to a better location. I don't notice any color or signal problems with this brand.
