Instructions specifically states if initialization fails @ step 2) "Locate the "CD:SATAJBOD inside the JBOD_Repair_Tools.exeStep 3) Double click to open JBOD_Repair_Tools.exe.No such CD in the box nor found anywhere on internet search although item Amazon ad displays a screenshot from the JBOD_Repair_Tools software.My time is expensive and didn't waste any more trying to get this adapter to work. Yes I was using 2 new 2TB NGFF's still 'initialization fail'. Put my Win10 workstation back together and ordered a more standard solution which is on the way and does "plug and play". No messing around.Returned item.

Ok - so whether you are trying to reuse a M.2 Drive in a notebook that does not support the format (as I was) or your are trying to find a way to take advantage of M.2 drives instead of SATA Drives in multi slot backup system (which I am ALSO doing) this is a great purchase. I know, you can buy a USB enclosure for $14 or so, but I have had several hit and miss devices in that genre. This one drops the drive right into my dual serial ATA host box that I use for backups and makes my life super easy - plus the connectors of a serial ATA slot feel more robust to me than some flimsy USB cable. I bought this and I am gonna buy more of them. You should take a look if you are in need of a device like this. Oh, also these are easier to slap a label on and FIND when you are trying to determine where your files are... Not like a tumb drive where I find myself inserting 20 of before I find the right one...

I'm a computer guy and I needed a way to make two M2 drives and install them in to a laptop because it was running out of space. I had the drives but they were smaller this gave me a fast and clean way to fix the laptop.

Hab 2 M2 platten verbaut und beider liesen sich nicht booten. In der dürftigen Anleitung war nur beschrieben wie man es mit einer Repair Cd hin bekommt. Tut mir leid, aber in der heutigen zeit Wäre eine E-mail vom Verkäufer wohl das mindeste in der ein Link zum Treiber ist. Somit sehe ich mich gezwungen nur einen Stren zu vergeben.

Fehlkauf! Karte lässt sich nicht booten (Windows 10). Obwohl zwei M.2 SSD Karten installiert sind... in der Sendung fehlte zudem die Treiber-CD(die ja nichts nutzt, wenn der Computer nicht bootet).Fazit: 1 Stern ist noch zu viel
