The dogs love this bone. They can both sit and chew on a bone for hours before there is even a dent made to it. This makes the bones worth the price, which at first appears steep for dog treats. For reference, we have one small dog (12 pounds) and one small to medium sized dog (30 pounds). The thirty pound dog is a pit heeler mix and is capable of rough chewing.

I like that these raw hides are tightly rolled so it takes my pup longer to chew them!

Unlike other dog chews, these do not have a bad smell ... and they last. I have a 125 lb German Shepherd and he especially likes these chews. He gives his five star rating.

For some reason, my lab turns up her nose at other rawhide treats. Even did a smell test and she knows the difference. Can't always find them in the local stores. They are a bit pricey but they are made in the USA so they are worth it!

I've spent countless hours comparing prices of rawhide online and these are the best value I can find for rawhide that is suitable for small dogs and that aren't chips (I hate chips). I used to buy larger rolls elsewhere that were super cheap but my small dogs can't handle anything large. I just opened the pack and passed them out and my dogs are really happy with them. They look and smell good. The bag is enormous.

My dog is enjoying her first ever rawhide chew. These chews are 10" long and at least 1" in diameter. They are sourced from Paraguay and Brazil. After I chose them, I decided to learn more about rawhide chews.They are great for our dog's dental hygiene and help to clean tartar off her teeth, provide chewing exercise and even burn calories...but I need to pay attention to the source country. Also, dogs can swallow pieces of rawhide which swell in their stomach and depending on the size of the piece might cause a serious obstruction (take away rawhide chews when they become small enough to swallow and supervise your pet), and if you dog chews too long he might gete stomach upset or diarrhea.Chemicals are used for processing and some countries might use chemicals I don't want my dog to ingest.I need to do more research to learn about the 2 source countries manufacturing process for these rawhide chews.Our Labradoodle spent 20 minutes chewing on one roll and is fine. In that 20 minutes she only had about 1/2" of the edge softened. The next time she enjoyed a chew, she spent an hour on it and softened about an inch. In that time she pulled off a larger piece and kept chewing on it ... kind of like gum. I pulled that piece out of her mouth so she wouldn't swallow it. When swallowed, rawhide can swell and cause a serious obstruction. Instructions state to wash hands after handling this or any dog treat . That bit of advice concerns me.
