I have the spacey looking "Explore the Wonders and Mysteries" version of the diary and I am an older adult. Get one of these colorful diaries if you don't want one of those plain black, brown, blue, or green covered diaries. This spacey theme is ideal for making notes about many subjects including: science, religion, spirituality, consciousness, OBEs, Astral Projection, mysticism, meditation, UFOs, astrology, or really any subject! It would have been nice for this diary to have a pen loop or holder but you can clip the pen to the closing strap, so this is not a show stopper. The paper and binding appears to be good quality. For those that care: the line spacing measures out to about 8.2 mm. Each page has seven small check boxes at the top to select the day of week and three check boxes for basic weather (sunny, cloudy, rainy). There is also spaces to put the date and a memo number. Overall, a good buy.

Purchased for my son for his birthday and he absolutely loved it. I love that they thought about the possibility of the kid forgetting the code and created a way to find the code you set.

My son uses this to sketch, and he likes it. He likes the lock and says the paper is good quality. Also, he thinks the leather cover feels nice.
