This review covers two CAHAYA products:- 5 in 1 Dual Use Sheet Music Stand- Guitar Stand Floor UniversalI bought them together, use them together, and have similar feedback on them, so am cross-posting this review for both products.I am an amateur, non-gigging player and have no need of (and cannot afford!) professional quality stands. However, I am tired of purchasing lower-end products that are poorly-designed and poorly manufactured using inferior materials.CAHAYA has hit the sweet spot offering decent quality stands at affordable prices. This music stand came as part of a kit including a desktop adaptor, travel bag, music clip, and sheet music folder. Personally I have little use for the folder, but it's a nice touch to include it. The desktop adaptor and clip work well when you need them. The bag is great and I use it whenever I need to quickly vacate the family room for visitors. It even accommodates my CAHAYA guitar stand. Everything (except the sheet music folder) breaks down quickly and goes into the bag in about a minute. The most important piece--the music stand itself--is well-designed and well-manufactured. Most important for me is that it easily accommodates thick three-ring binders full of music. It adjusts to any height I need, whether sitting or standing. For daily, same-location amateur use, this music stand kit is a bargain. If you expect to break it down, pack it up, throw it in a vehicle and reassemble it several times a week, you should probably go more high-end. (But if you just don't have the budget to do so, this kit can probably survive some length of pro service as long as you don't abuse it )The CAHAYA Universal Floor Guitar Stand is similar to the music stand in terms of materials, reliability, and value: an absolute bargain for a single-location amateur. If you expect to set it up in different venues every week where it might get knocked over by a drummer stumbling toward his or her kit or by a drunk audience member, you should probably go more high-end. But this stand is light years better than some of the products that are just $10 cheaper. Some people complain that it holds the guitar too high, making it too unsteady. I was a little concerned about this at first, but I use it for a relatively heavy bass, and have never had a problem. In fact, the cradle appears to be high to accommodate the adjustable tripod legs, so it was designed this way for a reason. My only minor complaint is that you need to completely remove bolts, knobs, nuts, and washers when fully collapsing the stand. If you expect to be doing this a lot, there's a good chance you're going to drop and lose a piece at some point. Otherwise, this stand is a great solution for anybody on a budget that won't be abusing their equipment.

I offered to buy each my two oldest grandsons a portable music stand with features of their choice. Both chose this model and are exceptionally pleased with them. The stands are nice looking, substantial and stable, have built-in spring arms to hold music in place even in a breeze, and they pack up nicely in their carrying cases for portability. We recommend them highly!

The construction and weight of the music stand are excellent. I like the design and for my purposes this stand has served me well. The price is very reasonable for what you get. I did not buy this music stand for all of the extras they throw in to entice people to buy this product. All I was interested in was the basic music stand. And for that, I gave it a 5-star rating. The extras are nice, but unnecessary. The music clip is well made and a nice add-on. The carrying case is nothing to brag about. The binder for the music is okay. Definitely not something that could not be easily replaced and more functional with a regular binder and protective sleeves. The photo of the binder is quite misleading in the ad. The cover is soft plastic with the document sleeves fasted to the cover by being melted to the cover at the center. Not something that will be easy to flip pages during a concert or even just practicing.I have a large, heavy music book on my stand in addition to the large new iPad. Add to that a sturdy LED battery operated light on top, and it still holds everything without a problem.I bought this music stand for the stand alone and for that, it was well worth the money. This stand is even better at a lower price than the Amazon basics music stand. Ignore all of the extras. If you want a good music stand, I highly recommend this one. Its wide foot print for the legs makes this stand very stable.

For the money, it gets the job done, and in more style than most collapsible stands. It looks sleek, it's lightweight, it's fairly easy to set up, and it's surprisingly durable. I haul it around the room a few times a week and keep four or five music books on it, and it handles it without complaint. I don't love the wires you can use to pin your music down, but they're easy enough to flip down and move out of the way.I'll also note that the pins and tightening screws are smooth and well designed, and the finish is really nice. I've used bare metal collapsible stands that seem to be made entirely out of pinch points, and by contrast this stand doesn't make me fear for my fingers when I'm setting up or tearing down. When it needs to collapse, it's easy and quick to break down, and it fits in the bag. I've taken it back and forth to band practice quite a bit and found it easy to carry even with a 15-pound instrument case. I appreciate the carry handles that I can fit over my hand and around my wrist. The tray for the music doesn't collapse, so it's a little bit bigger bag than some, but I find that the tradeoff (sturdier tray) is worth it, especially since the bag also will fit some music books or a folder that I then don't have to carry separately. This gets a 4 from me only because sometimes while I'm moving it or adjusting the tilt, the stand piece will come off in my hand - it seems like the locking screw on that piece is a little weaker or less well-fitted than the others. Annoying to fix but not a deal breaker by any means! Great stand for the money.

I bought a different stand but returned it and bought this instead. This has a big metal plate which is heavy and sturdy and can hold more weight. This music stand is very easy to assemble and disassemble when needed. Comes with a clip on top and 2 metal prongs to hold your music sheets and book well. My son uses this for violin and we bought a 2nd one for my other son to use for his drum set. This stand is well made and comes with a carrying bag as well if you need to transport it.The adjustable height is very versatile and adjustable tilt as well. It is very easy to use and can be switched from the stand to table top which is great but haven't had to use the table top. This is also very easy to wipe clean as it is one solid flat piece with no grooves, no holes no wavy design like others. The clips hold the pages well and is sturdy and it comes with a plastic clip as well which functions well. Overall we are very happy with this stand that's why we bought 2.

The measurement for height is accurate, but for someone who is 6 foot or 181 cm tall, it could be higher. I do love the case and colour. It is fairly sturdy, but it is not to hold a heavy or thick binder of music sheets. I’m pleased. The package for some reason got held up at U.S. customs prior to entering Canada. This is unusual. Most of the packages that I received have arrived on time. Don’t buy a flimsy music stand! My Dixon from 1995 that I bought years ago still holds up well.

Soy una persona un poco más alto que el promedio (1.85cm) y los atriles convencionales me quedaban algo chicos, éste atril realmente se ajusta a mi altura. Lo recomiendo igualmente como soporte para lap o proyector ya que ofrece una altura considerable.
