A gift for 16 mos. Contains several songs that are special to she and I (you are my sunshine is something we sing every time we see one another!It is well constructed and colorful- age appropriate for child to play on their own (which she does when I’m not with her)We had a slight problem with function and I reached out to manufacturer for “tech support†-they immediately shipped a replacement. First book still plays songs-with exception of our favorite which was over played/broken. This is an “over-used†toy-lovingly beaten up and drooled on- it is holding up great. When she finally runs it out of life, I am grateful for stand by replacement. Baby keepsake.

Ordered Cali ABC & Cali Count for my 17 month old grandson. I rate this product more than 5 Stars. After a week he is already stating his ABCs half way. Even though this book maybe costly for most kids, I may try to gift these books the babies we might know. Great Idea for most people who care.

I like this book and the fact that it has two volume levels. However, it's not inexpensive, and for the price I paid ($24.99) it should've included a charging cable. Since I'm giving it as a gift, I especially don't want to have the child's parents have to go on a hunt for the proper cable to recharge. I should've looked into it further, so I could've ordered the correct cable to have in time to give with the book, or on the other hand, have decided on a different gift.Update: I contacted the company and they are sending me a charging cable at no extra charge. Kudos to them for their customer service in this instance! Therefore, I have upgraded my rating from three stars to four.

The grand babies love this book. Other reviews thought it wasn't loud enough, I thought it was plenty loud enough! I bought 2!

Baby loves the rhymes/songs, but the music is very soft so we actually listen while looking at the speaker and not every song plays til the end. Several (most of them) will stop prematurely. I have 3 books and this happens with all of them sadly. The quality just isn't there.

The music for the books are faulty, and too short. It doesn't complete a full nursery rhyme. I bought the entire series of books in April and they don't work anymore.
