I like the way that this is all inclusive for both still and video calibration. It's all there and ready for use whenever needed. Setting white balance of the camera isn't always the answer.

Whether calibrating LR or achieving the middle gray†I love these things!They are portable, accurate and clearly an industry standard!I got this one for another camera bag as I would often forget to swap it on the run.

Takes several minutes to create color profiles even when it is properly lit and angled.. This happens when using a completely updated version of windows 11 pro 64 bit with an Intel i913900k, 64gb ddr5 ram, nvidiia 4070 ti and Intel 990 pro nvme drive.The other color checker I have with the older software only takes about a second.

The inclusion of both video and photo calibration charts obviously reduces the need for carrying both of the predecessor passport packages.

Der Calibrite Passport Video 2 unterscheidet sich in keiner Weise zum Vorgänger von X-Rite den ich auch in die Finger bekam und ich somit beide Farbkarten gegeneinander testete. Es ist ein teures gutes Teil, das macht, was es soll. Die Farben in Davinci Resolve werden damit lebhaft aber akkurat kalibriert. Ich nehme dann gleich anschließend ein wenig Sättigung heraus. Der Kontrast passt sehr gut für mich beim Calibrite Video Passport 2. Im Vergleich kalibriert der Mitbewerber Spyder Passport Video den ich auch gegen die beiden Passports von Calibrite und X-Rite getestet habe die Mitten um einiges heller und in meinen Fällen leider auch leicht grünstichig (da ich den Grünstich aber sonst von niemanden in diversen Foren gelesen habe, scheint das eher mein persönliches Problem zu sein).Bei der Plastikhülle des Calibrite selbst könnte es Verbesserungen geben - das Auf und Zu gestaltet sich etwas mühsam und man hat Sorge, dass man beim Auf- oder Zuklappen irgendwann zwei Teile in der Hand hat.Für die primäre Farbkorrektur bekomme ich letztlich beim Calibrite Passport Video 2 ein insgesamt cinematischeres und ausgewogeneres Bild als beim Spyder Passport Video. Deshalb behalte ich den Calibrite.

Just makes life easy. Footage is always in the right colour due to the correct white balance.And future corrections can be made in Colour correction with the colour chart.
