This is a great encoder.This encoder can measure up to 2000mm, which is a great range for most of us normal users, nothing too industrial but just right.The is build quality is pretty great it has a very durable housing that can protect the insides from dust and moisture and things like that. It feels great quality and not hollow or empty. It is small so it will not really take much space in your setup, which is great!The encoder seems to have a very high precision in measurements, so you do not have to worry about being off or getting wrong results, from my experience.The installation process is pretty straightforward, with instructions to follow, it will be ready to use.The price may be on the higher end compared to other encoders with shorter measurement ranges or lower specifications but this is worth it for what you are getting. You won't be disappointed with the results you will get. It has a great build quality and has really accurate measurements. I would highly recommend this encoder!

It works well enough with the exception that the output signal was noisy. Like 150mv noisy at high frequency. I ended up just doing a simple 100hz low pass output filter feeding a rail to rail op amp buffer and that cleaned it up to 3mv noise.

We installed this in a piece of custom machinery and after a month it's still holding accuracy.Highly Recommended
