Will change review if seller fixes defective part. Upon installing the part fit perfectly into my 97 Polaris scramblers radiator. However when hooking up the clips, one of them snapped completely off. This was not a user error. This was a clip that had a poorly soldered joint.I am very competent at electronics and could have soldered back, but if any attempt is made it would melt the rubber gasket. Basically you have to solder the tabs then melt the gasket while manufacturing. As of now I have a useless paperweight, and a quad that has no thermostat.

Screwed rite into radiator and its correct ohms so it runs the fan at proper temperature. The discontinued Polaris one has a pigtail on it. This does not, so just cut wires at sensor and put 2 male terminals on wires and your good.

I bought this after the first one I bought broke. I got a different brand and when I went to install it the connections felt loose and weak. In the process of putting everything back together the connections broke. I bought this one and the connections are very sturdy and gave me no problems at all during the installation. It feels strong enough that I know I could unplug it and plug it back in if I need to without breaking it. Definitely go with Caltric over the other brands.
