I've not actually ridden the bike yet but it does warm up and kick the fan on on a 2001 R6 the fan is supposed to kick on at 215°. This one makes it kick on at about 185 190 but it's working oddly enough the one I removed which looks brand new is the exact same one with exact same part number so this review could go either way but that's why it's cheap like most Amazon products
