*NOVEMBER 2022 bought this for $50 and it lasted almost a year. It is now OCTOBER 2023 and had to buy another one for $50. Considering the price from cub cadet is $226.90 for their brand I'm still ahead. Easy install and starts right up. I have an old 2005 LT1050 Cub cadet riding mower. It's now just used as a snow plow in winter. The 1st starter shipped to me the screw area at bottom broke off because it was rolling around in box. The 2nd one arrived rolling around in box as well but it was not broken. There is a size difference (see picture) but it was easy install and works so far. 1 star taken off for poor packaging which wasted my time with return and postponed fixing lawntractor waiting for replacement.

Several days were spent trying to isolate why the cub cadet would not start after rebuilding the starter. Despite the rebuild the mower started but made a high pitched metal on metal- like sound. Needing to be sure the starter was really the problem, a new Caltric starter was purchased as a last resort. It was easy to install. Once installed the mower started without hesitation. The part was exactly what was needed in lieu of the rebuilt starter. So far, so good. It was an excellent price. A perfect fit for my cadet LT2, LX42. This purchase saved me a lot of time and money.

Acheter en octobre 2024 remplacer en février 2025. Pas fait une longue durée de vie. Pour plus de 100$ , pas une bonne affaire car il n’aime pas le froid . Non recommandé

For express shipping it took way too long to arrive. It wasn’t picked up by shipper for over a week after the waybill was created. For the product it is working fine as it should.
