Cheap and effective way to keep your awning from "auto deploying" while driving down the highway. Found that they last about 3 years or so with uv damage from the sun. Well worth the investment. They also help secure the awning locks when the awning is extended. I have kids that like to pull levers. The awning release is just at their height and could very easily remove a finger if released inadvertently. I wrap these around that lever to lock it shut. Also keeps them from getting lost..

When we got out new Grand Caravan, it had a console between the front seats which made it impossible to place my four prong cane where I could reach it. Putting it in back of the seat wasn't an option: the puppy chewed on it! Setting it on the passenger side with no passenger meant that a stop or a turn could send the metal handle crunching against the wind. I made a loop of one strap to go over the cane, put the other one perpendicular through that loop, and caught the tail in the glove compartment. Now when I get in, I slip the loop over my cane, and it's secure for the trip. Similarly, I used two of these to create a holder for that same cane on the back of my electric scooter. Inexpensive, easy to use, and keeps things handy.

These are a lifesaver for the awning especially when driving in high winds. A must have!!!!

I just got these today and installed them on my RV awning! They attach very securely and will give me peace of mind when we are traveling down the road that our awning has that extra protection to keep it secure! They are made out of very heavy duty Velcro! Great purchase and I would highly recommenced this product for your RV awning! Another plus is that they can be used to secure your awning strap when you have opened your awning. I love them!

Bought a used RV and found they didn’t include the awning straps. Bought these and very happy with them. Well made and have worked great so far.

So; we bought these because our electronic awning arms do not always make the big click on closing. And we fear they may loosen enough while in transit to do damage to fabric. Our awning was riveted on in the factory — so it was a very tight squeeze to pull/push the tie strap through. Upon full installation these straps just - and I mean just (barely) have an overlap to the Velcro. I do not feel it would be that hard for the manufacturer to add an inch or more so it isn’t so minimal a contact. Other than length we are satisfied with the product.
