This is a very sturdy and versatile hold down tray that can be adapted to many different applications and I like it very much. I had no trouble adapting it to my automobile.

What I like about it was that it was reasonable price I was looking for one because I misplaced the one for the car and it fit my car real good now I can put a bigger battery if I decide you I would recommend it to anyone I think it was a good buy Roberto from Philadelphia

I gave this a try based on the price and some reviews, try it, it look long the bottom plate for size of the battery I have but as long it fits on wider side to me it was fine, battery is closer to a square shape, as you can see in the pics, the only issue was the metal bars from both sides are a bit smaller for the height of the battery. I had to pull it up as long as I can reach to screw in the knobs on top. I hope they keep holding the battery after movement, so far since I installed it still good.They need to add at least 1/2†or 3/4†more to the bars so it will have some metal bar out of knobs to ensure it will not pop out after extended movement of the car, reason why I gave only 4 stars .

This battery holder is the best, it's sturdy and easy to install. I am a 66 year old female and the hardest part of the installation was lifting the battery. My battery is a 9x7 but I chose this size due to the fact my next battery will be larger. And it still set up nicely. For the pr5i would highly recommend this battery holder I don't see much difference from the others out there besides price. Thanks seller

The parts in this kit are well made without question but as others have said you made have to modify them to work in your vehicle. I needed the kit for a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder. The plastic tray did not fit so I could not use it. The hold down rods are long as also has been stated before, so be careful there is clearance before closing your hood so you don't dent or put a hole in it. However the rods are heavy duty that I was able to cut the rods with a hacksaw and bend them in a vice for the hook. This way I didn't harm the threads. The rods worked great after that which in the end is just what I needed as the old ones rusted out and broke off. I gave it three stars only because I could only use parts of the kit but I give it five stars for solving my problem and now my battery is secure. If I had to I would purchase it again unless I found one that better fit the vehicle I was repairing.

Battery fits as described with the dimensions in the picture, however, there is no mounting hardware for the tray included. Instructions just say "use the number 12 screws and washers" but it doesn't come with anything. I obviously don't have any hardware on my car to reuse if I'm buying an aftermarket universal mount.

I use that for my 99 Civic, best thing for my Civic. Bolt with self tapper, which is strong, I was running a Dodge Caliber SXT 2010 Battery in my 99 Civic and it was a track car, not even broken ! was a solid mount !

La compré pensando que cabrÃa para un Civic 2001 pero no fue asÃ, ni cortando la, aunque se sentÃa bastante sólida y los tornillos ajustadores me los quedé y me funcionaron perfecto.
