We damaged some trim on our camper and this Camco product is a perfect match for the original trim. Was easy to install once I figured out how to guide it into the channel. I needed a 35 foot run and the channel was not uniform or straight enough (it curves to match the top shape of our fifth wheel camper) to pull the trim through from end to end. Using an autobody plastic spatula, I was able to easily push the trim into the channel.

I purchased a vinyl 1 inch by hundred feet trim insert. The material is exactly what it says it is. It's flexible and works well. And has a nice full-color texture to it.Pros:The price is amazing, provide around $11 I was able to replace the entire trim covers on my 24 foot fifth wheel. The sides are soft enough and pliable to tuck underneath the trimming.Goes on easily.Cons:This is one of the products I cannot give it negative about it anyway.Overview:I use the product in the average of 70 to 80° temperatures which seems to make the material very pliable. I was able to place the trimming in the slots and move along at a very quick pace. I was able to read place in the entire RV of trim. My fifth wheel has trim along the top, along the sides, up the sides of the corners and the bottom trim. As well as the loft area and fifth wheel areas that all have trim covering them. I had more than enough left over to cover everything needed. It was so easy to apply I was often moving along at two or 3 feet a minute.NOTE:This is not for the rubber trim that goes around your windows, why this same May be observed it is not intended for this product. This product is not designed to make things water resistant. So please keep in mind is for the outer trimming, to cover the screws. that does not mean it is a poor product. As one would not normally put rubber within this area either. It seems to be very colorfast sitting out in the summer sun has not bleached it in two months. I was doing a remodel and I had to have the trimmed covered. This does help keep moisture off the screws so it is important that you have these in place on your RV if you have open screws anywhere.I highly recommend this product. So much so that I bought an extra role just in case I ever charity off. The color matched my original in my 1987 fifth wheel.

This is the second time I have had to replace this trim (different locations). I had read other vendor reviews and was wary of purchasing Camco trim because everyone said it it not pliable and difficult to install. Trim arrived ahead of scheduled time and in good condition. I ordered 100' roll this time so I have some on hand if needed. I found that the product was a little stiffer that the other one so I set it out in the sun for a few minutes and it softened right up. Maybe the marginal reviews did not do this step. It makes a world of difference. Trim went in easy and looks great. Will eventually need to replace everything.

Bought this to replace the aging trim on my camper. Nearly twice as thick as the OEM stuff. Easy to install once it warmed up a little in the sun.

It fit perfectly in my East West Della Terra travel trailer rain rail. I watched some how/ to videos and it was easy to install.

These were perfect. The hotter the tape for the easier it was to install. Just screwed in the end, pinched the tape and it slid right into the groves. Would recommend you use end cap if you don't already have them. This replacement strip was heavier gauge than what can with the RV. I am sure they will last longer.

My camper had the 40 year old original stuff. It had a bit missing the front. I grabbed bone and it matches the fiberglass color. You may want black to contrast and then no need to worry about matching. Original 40 year old stuff was dark brown and I think that dark color did help it to last a long time. I felt like I could replace again fairly easily and cheaply and all bone would be my taste and suite the camper. I was happy with results.I put in a lot of commercial glass with synthetic, rubber, or plastic retaining material. That stuff is really high quality but the technique applies. You never want the material to be stretched during install as it will shrink back to size. We typically cut it a bit long even and actually do a few inches section and work our way to where we started. This goes in easy when warm so I left roll in a warm spot prior while popping old stuff out. I cut my pieces to overlap at joints and angles and had top piece overlap bottom piece to shed water. I put in one side first then popped in other side. I made sure not to stretch it. You want joints to have extra material for overlapping. Cut to size only after a section is in.This style material doesn't need a glazing roller though, just one side in first then pinch and work your way back inserting the second side. This is actually a much bigger width then I needed, but it went in pretty easy with this simple technique. A knife, red Richardson paint scraper or plastic drywall mud spreader may have helped. Leave pieces too long and you can always trim a little more if it doesn't pop in. Moving over a few inches and pushing in material back towards the start point squishes more material in. No shrinkage then.I'd guess based on the feel and pliability that this will last at least 10 years. It would be easy on my rig to replace again. It is cost effective. Marine products may also work. My rigs belly band or channel looks more like a boat rub strip extrusion.
