Worked surprisingly well. Fits small for a Hero 7 Black but was a great inexpensive trial run. It's not durable enough to install and remove multiple times. Worked well to block noise as long as you disable wind noise reduction. Very important: turn off wind noise reduction and make sure foam covers the mic hole.

It's pretty thick and made well. If your buying it to use for vlogging to cut down on wind noise if your per say walking around or stationary, it will probably do fine.If your buying it to cut down on wind noise with your gopro mounted on your vehicle, does fine till about 15/20 mph and then the wind howling is back.But overall it's a well made product. Just doesn't do what I needed it to.

Worked really well for what I was trying to do. I was actually needing it to work on a GoPro 3 installed on a FeiyuTech G4 Handheld Steady Gimbal while I recorded an outdoor activity in Hawaii where the trade wind blows a lot of the time. The GoPro can not have a case on it when it is on the gimbal, and the last time I had used it outdoors the wind noise in my audio was terrible on a pretty calm day. So I needed a solution, and this did the trick. I had to actually alter it some, cutting away some of the material, so that it would not interfere with the gimbal movement, but the bottom line was that I still had windscreen over the microphone (on the side on my GoPro model, on the top on newer ones), and it worked very well.

I bought this to use on my Hero 5. Even though it's not cut for the square lens, it goes right over it anyway. Reduces the wind noise tremendously. I had one of my viewers ask if I had switched to an external mic.... it's that clear! Great product... great price.

This works great for keeping down wind noise when you have the go pro mounted inside the car. I have my GoPro mounted on my roll bar between my seats. With the windows down I get very little wind noise. Only down side is not being able to see the screen or lights to know it's on for sure.

Calza perfettamente sulla mia 4 silver lasciando spazio sufficiente per la lente. Molto ben fatto. Per quanto riguarda la resa non posso ancora dare un giudizio dettagliato, in quanto non ho avuto ancora modo di testarla con forte vento. Posso solo dire per quello che ho visto fino ad ora che copre molto bene un vento moderato e attutisce leggermente anche il suono del traffico, soprattutto il suono di passaggio di un'auto. Per il prezzo che ha non si può chiedere di meglio secondo me. Ho testato anche dei prodotti originali ed il materiale è identico. Non sempre chi più spende meno spende.

Ich nutze beim Motorrad fahren eine Hero 5 Black. Sie ist entweder seitlich oder vorn am Helm montiert. Super Bilder, aber vom Sound war ich total enttäuscht. Ab 40 km/h waren nur noch Windgeräusche und nichts mehr vom Motorrad zu hören. Also dachte ich mir für den Preis ist es einen Versuch mit dem Windschutz wert. Es geht etwas schwierig, er passt aber über Kamera samt Rahmen. Schnell noch ein Fenster für den hinteren Bildschirm ausgeschnitten und den Linsenausschnitt etwas vergrößert, dann ab ging es zum ersten Test. Und siehe da kaum Windgeräusche, erst ab 80 km/h hört man den Fahrtwind deutlicher. Der Motorensound ist trotzdem weiterhin gut zu hören. Genau so wollte ich es, ein bisschen Fahrtwind gehört meiner Meinung nach dazu. Nutze seitdem nur noch den Stereomodus. Der Wind-Modus der Gopro hat bei mir ausgedient! Trotz der Ausschnitte ist es stabil und reisst nicht sofort ein. Für den Preis absolute Kaufempfehlung!!!

Eliminated all wind noise from my footage.Combined with a gopro frame the audio is 10x better than within the waterproof housing.Only minor thing would be you cant see the buttons but i just cut a tiny hole in the foam so my finger could find them easily without the need to look at the camera.
