Another camper had one of these at a recent get-together and I knew I had to have one. It is great. I love how small it collapses to. We line it with a 30 gal bag (a little tricky) and carry a couple of extra in the bottom of the "Can" for replacements. The ONLY negative feature is not being able to close it securely without "detaching" the garbage bag you so painstakingly got snugly over the lip in the first place. The last campground had racoons that came and knocked it over every night unless I zipped it closed. Worked great for the family reunion party this last weekend. I like that the little loop closure can also be used to help stake it down, with small stakes.

I know it doesn't look like much but this is a great thing to keep with your camping gear. For the last 6 years we have used a little 13 gallon kitchen trash can, but on a week long trip it fills up fast. This thing is almost triple the volume and collapses for easy storage. We just buy the hefty lawn bags and it works great for camping trash that you don't have to empty every other day.

This was definitely my favorite Christmas gift from my in-laws! While this may sound funny, my wife wasn't too excited about having a permanent garbage can decorating out pool deck- but since we have a decent number of cookouts/parties at the house, I needed something portable (and collapsable) to quickly put up for the occasions. It fits contractor bags very well, and is obviously very portable...liked it so much that I this was my 2nd acquisition! I imagine it to be a perfect accessory for camping out, tailgating, and anything requiring outdoor disposal.

I use this to go camping in my 22' travel trailer (just me & my 90# dog) where storage space is limited. I love the fact I can collapse this with the included latches (bar hooks that go through tiny loops that keep it closed, securely), and I love the zipper top. At the end of a day, I can fold the trash bag (I use 30-gallon bags) inside this can and zip it closed to keep overnight critters out, then unzip and re-secure the bag over the very sturdy rim for the next day's use. I wish there were loops on the bottom where I could stake it to the ground -- I may just attach some myself for the future. Right now, I just use one of the handles and a bungee strap to keep it secured to my trailer's nose (it works well enough so long as there are no very severe winds).I like the manageable size, because frankly, I couldn't lug a full 30-gallon trash bag to a campground dumpster, let alone anything larger.

I finally had to buy a replacement, my previous one lasted about 7 years, and that includes me leaving it out in the hot sun, and hard rain, dragging it all over the yard and throwing pointy objects at it (that were intended for the trash but I often miss. )

This is a very large collapsible bin with sturdy handles. Overall the material its made of appears sturdy, however mine arrived with a ripped seam at the zipper. I was planning to use it as camping garbage can so being able to close it securely is important - so I returned it. If using for something where the zipper is less critical, I think this could still be a decent option.

These things are perfect for camping! Collapse flat, large storage capacity. Bought two, one for recycling and one for garbage. It did get a little confusing, wish they came in different colors for that reason. But the main thing I wish is that you could secure the bag to stay up while keeping it zipped closed. If you zip it the bag has to be stuffed inside. Otherwise perfect! Brought on two camping trips this summer and I'm sure they'll last for many more.
