Plastic breaks easily. Should have read that they were plastic would have much rather paid extra for metal. My mistake!

For those of you that don't know like me, ABS is plastic. They break quite easy. The picture kind of looks like they might are made out of aluminum. I assure you they are not.

These stakes are used to stake down your outdoor rug. I use them for my rugs in front of my camper. The stakes look like metal, but are in fact plastic. While using the first time, one stake broke because the ground was so hard. Since the top broke off, I could not pull it back out of the ground so it had to stay. The other stakes were able to be removed. Once in place, the stake are pretty flush to the ground, so they are not a trip hazard. I might purchase again, but I know now to be careful when hammering them into the ground. They do come in a few color choices, and they aren't expensive. They did work well and did what they were supposed to do.

i guess knowing these were plastic I should not have expected them to be super sturdy, but if you are using any type of ground that is hard I would use metal stakes instead

Very good to hold down a outdoor mat in front of the RV. I’m going to buy another set.

We were going to use them on a mat in front of our rv, but they broke when we used a hammer on them. But they are plastic. So you get what you pay for. My fault not the company. I will use them on something else. Have a good day.

I’ve only used them a couple of times, but they hold down my 9X16 foot patio camping mat so that it doesn’t blow away. The color blends with my mat and I like that the rings have a wider area to hold down than a stake by itself.

I broke 3 pegs trying to get them hammered in the first time....They are plastic not metal and not very good plastic.

like other buyers, I didn't read the entire description because I thought I order steel pegs. Surprised when the arrived and are plastic. Not going to work on gravel rv pads. returned, but again, my mistake
