This is so so packable. Very light weight breaks down to about 14 inches of provided sack. The picture shows the extended chain but is adjustable in height off the embers.I'm impressed. Love it. Berry cobbler next up.

I bought this for my 12 yr old grandson who's into camping and being outdoors. I watched him put this together in 5 minutes right in front of me so it's easy to assemble. He then took it and placed one of his camping pots onto the hook and placed it over the fire he had made in the back yard. He said the pot hung just right on top of the fire. He loves this tripod and said it works really well.

PERFECT FOR MY PURPOSE!! This was the PERFECT tripod for my witchy setup. Will add a spotlight and spider webbing in the background and VOILA! Item is pretty sturdy too and I'm looking forward to using it as more than a prop! Might also be nice at Christmas to place near Santa 🎅 Like those old school salvation army stations!

Not very sturdy. Bought it for a Dutch oven but the cast iron was too heavy.

Much smaller than I imagined, but it actually works well.

To begin with... There's nothing "Prime" about their delivery. It took 6 days to receive the package. 10 pieces consisting of 9 short sections that screw together to become the three legs, and an 18' chain with a hook at one end, and a round piece connected at the other end of the chain for the legs to attach to. Just looking at the parts I realized I had made a mistake in purchasing the tripod. To begin with it is very small. Although the legs are "31 inches" the usable area for hanging a pot or lantern is much much smaller. To fit a standard size lantern the chain must be shortened to where only the hook is hanging from the top of the tripod, and once the lantern is hung, it is only a couple of inches from the ground. As far as a cooking tripod, it is too insubstantial to hold more than a very small cooking pot without shaking or bending. While the advertisement shows what appears to be a large pot cooking over an open campfire, the reality is that any cooking pot more that backpacking size would be so close to the ground that it would be supported by the coals and you wouldn't need the tripod! For the price, I had expected a tripod that would hold my oil lantern when camping and instead received something from a child's play set. So pay attention and buyer beware. Photos attached.

Seems well made. Haven't used it yet. Nice and small and lightweight. Update: I have used it several times now. Works great. I have used it with a pot and a grill, separately. Easy to adjust height to control cooking temp. I have a small W&G fire pit and sits over top nicely.

Decent tripod for the cost. Works fine for small pots or cauldrons but I wouldn’t hang anything too heavy from it. Easy to assemble and disassemble and comes in a convenient little Velcro bag.
