Despite their woeful football record of the past several years, I am still a born and bred Nebraska Cornhusker fan! So, I was excited to get these adorable little red shorts to show my love for Big Red! I ordered my regular size, and although I was a little worried they would be too small, they fit great! Granted, since I am just over forty (and I'm 5'10"), I will likely not wear them outside the house, but that's just a matter of how much leg I'm comfortably showing (i.e., it's not like they're indecently short). Besides, I wear them all the time at home, so I'll get plenty of use anyway!

I was very skeptical that these would be the correct size for me when I saw them straight out of the package, but I followed the size chart and sure enough, they fit. Sizing up would make them baggy in weird places. They've held up in the wash. They aren't super flattering but I wanted them for house lounging shorts so they're fine. I'm not sure how long the NCSU logo is going to hold on but it's staying put for now.

I was so excited to channel my inner cheerleader and recapture the glory days of Soffe apparel with these collegiate-inspired shorts...but these are NOT IT. While I appreciate the roll-down friendly waistband, that's about the only positive I have for these.The fit is...awkward to say the least. Unrolled, they're neither high-rise nor low-rise. The legs are too narrow-cut to be flattering, while the waistband itself is tighter than it should be for the size.Rolled, there's a wildly inappropriately placed center seam that is super cringe.All together = flat butt, camel toe city.Now, let's talk about the fabric... SUPER CHEAP. Think print-on-demand out of a corporate giveaway catalog. Like, how rough and itchy can we make this fabric to make our cost per item as low as possible?I've always thought Soffe shorts were super cute on others, and I'm not sure what it is about my body shape that makes these ones look so terrible, or if something has changed on their end. Super disappointed overall, but note that the graphic print quality is just fine.

These shorts are great! They fit as expected and are very well made. Washes and wear well. Soffe always makes great products. Would def recommend! The only thing that would make these better is by adding pockets.

This waist short is made of 50% cotton and 50% polyester, providing both stretch and good sweat absorption. They are great for workouts or jogging and are also suitable for everyday casual wear. I chose the red North Carolina State University shorts, and the hologram on the package suggests that this is an officially licensed product. I am satisfied with this order and will update if any issues arise.
