The C clamp can be clamped onto objects such as table edges, plates, glasses, crossbars, and more up to 1.65" in thickness. It features extended neck for deep grip. In addition to featuring vinyl sleeves that protect the surface you are clamping to from marring, the C clamp provides muliple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes for mounting a lightweight camera, light, monitor or other gear.

I bought this to clamp a light stand to my IKEA Effektiv desktop. The lightstand weighs about 20 pounds in total and puts a fair bit of leverage on the base plate. A single one of these CAMVATE clamps is sufficient to hold it snugly without wiggle. The black anodized aluminum is machined perfectly. The screw threading is a touch loose, but still snug. The vinyl-coated plate on the screw rotates freely, so you can tighten the screw without fighting friction between the vinyl and your clamping surface. Having all the 1/4-20 attachment points is also a big plus (although I don’t need them for my application). Definitely recommend.
