Unlike the junk being sold in Wally World, this thing doesn't feel like it's going to break while opening a can. I bought the version with plain steel handles, but the cutter is so sharp that excessive hand pressures are NOT involved. The result is it's comfortable and easy to use. The stainless steel construction should be durable. Great tool at a reasonable price!

Better than the average can opener as far as ease of use and completing the task assigned. It does open cans fully, the handles are easy to grip, however since I have arthritis in my hands, turning the handle is not as easy as it should be. Granted, it's about the same as most other can openers, but the description of being soft non-slip handles made me hope that it would also be easy to turn. If the manufacturer were to lengthen the turning handle by about half as much more, the longer length would give more grip as well as a better leverage on the can and allow us to open a can with much less stress on the hands.Not a terrible can opener, and will be fine for most people. But a longer turning handle would make it so much better for the elderly and others with hand and grip issues.

This is the perfect can opener. I bought several others from different vendors but they never worked well. I finally found the one that does. Easy the use and strong.

We’ve had a number of can openers over the last few years, but this one is the smoothest and most effective one we’ve had. We even had an expensive Brabantia one, but that malfunctioned after a few months. This one feels pretty good in your hands, is very smooth and works really well. It seems pretty robust, so I hope it lasts.
