Perfect kit for your first Raspberry Pi. Has everything you need including a cooling fan. Really easy to setup and use. The WiFi works great. While I wouldn’t bang it around, the case it comes in is pretty sturdy and is perfect if you need to bring it somewhere. All you need is a keyboard, mouse, and monitor (I’ve even used tvs with HDMI ports) and you’re good to go. Really great way to experience all that Linux and Rapberry Pi has to offer!

Purchased this for my Teen for Christmas. They just love it! He found it easy to put together right out of the box, and the speed is very fast. Does not take up much space, which is one thing my Kiddo really loves about it. While it Is versatile for many uses, it cannot though run programs like Spotify or Discord, in case you are wondering. And you will find you need to use websites vs Apps. My Child wants to use it to create a Pip Boy in the future. Great gift for your budding computer or tech Geek!

I like the quality of the CanaKits for setting up a Raspberry Pi. All the parts are good quality and generally over spec'd to make sure you don't have any problems. If you take the time, you might be able to put together the parts for less, but you will probably spend more time than you saved. I used this setup for a home automation setup. Quick and easy and all the pieces were there to get the base install running in a couple minutes. Putting the kit together is easy and you can watch the video to follow along instead of interpreting the written directions. For almost any use the kit will meet your needs. I waffle on whether the value could be a little better, but it's probably a time saver.

This thing is lightning fast and extremely quiet. I’ve had my eye on them for years and finally got one. Amazing product. Instead of apps you install a series of commands and it’s just so interesting. Great hobby to learn and teach to your kids

Great kit, ready to go right out of the box, easy to assemble, quickly had the PI up and running (then ripping CDs and my DVDs so I can back up, use on my various devices). Raspberry PI's have great software and project support online too, this is the way to go to hobby with SBCs. I think you can get a 16G model now too.

I ordered this kit on a Saturday morning and it arrived slightly more than 24 hours later. I was a bit concerned about getting it going but it is literally "plug and play". I had it booted up and running within an hour and that included watching a couple of videos (url provided in box). Excited to be able to use this cool mini-computer.

This is a one stop shop for RPi 5. Sure you have a PSU and cables hanging around and that SD from your old phone...but why bother? You can't beat this kit for the Black Friday price. Haven't booted it up yet but I expect ZERO issues as I have purchased many Canakit products before. This review is not solicited but if they want to send me stuff...
