The urn is even prettier than it looks in the photos. I chose the mint/turquoise color. (It’s definitely more mint than turquoise. I wouldn’t even call it aqua; I really don’t see much indication of blue in the color.). You wouldn’t know that there is aluminum under the pearlized glass/glazed ceramic looking coating; light creates a beautiful shimmery effect. It’s very well made; the top screws on securely and effortlessly. (I’m not sure why, but the bottom piece unscrews, even though there’s no entrance under it.) I’m thankful that there is felt on the bottom, so it won’t scratch my furniture. The size is generous, without looking gaudy. I have the cremains of a large adult in my urn, and there is a good bit of remaining space. I would definitely recommend placing cremains in a plastic bag before inserting them into the urn, in case you ever need to remove them.This urn looks more like a piece of decor, rather than what it is. I love how it blends so well with my other decor. I’m thrilled that I found such a lovely way to keep my loved-one close!

The Candle cremation urn is a quality product. The urn does look ceramic, but I guess it is fully aluminum. It definitely feels very solid and well made. The outside is a lovely sort of pearl-like purple that almost looks like glass. The top is made of a solid, intricately detailed metal that is so pretty. In the middle of the top is an indentation where a votive candle could be placed. The top easily fits onto the base, an securing it only takes several turns. I plan on taking this urn through customs, and I can tell that the remains will be solidly in place with no concerns for the top popping off. This is a very lovely and good quality urn, so you can be assured you are doing right by your loved one.
