These are my favorite colors to use for candle making, they make very bold vibrant colors and hold the color very well. I have tried the liquid and other kinds but this one is hands down the best!!!

I ordered these for my sister-in-law since she wants to start making candles. I thought these would be a good idea for her so she could add a little color to her candle making. She was very happy and said she can wait to make a bunch of colorful candles.

These dye pieces were perfect sized and the colors were super bright and vibrant. All you need is a very small amount cut off for a large amount of wax. The colors are perfect and not overly bright when they harden and holds the color very well with no fading.

A lot of reviews of other dye chips said they weren't very saturated, which is why I bought this brand and I'm glad I did. The little heart-shaped chips are extremely concentrated. I wanted a way to maintain color consistency in my candles without having to make a whole gallon of each color of wax at a time. What I did was melt the three heart chips into 3 cups of soy wax (that is the reason for the white film on the cubes, that doesn't have anything to do with the dye itself) and put them into a mini ice cube tray. Now I have many times the amount of dye chips and they are still heavily concentrated and I can add them to plain wax and get nicely saturated candles at whatever shade I want, one candle at a time.

I wasn’t thrilled with these colors. It takes a lot for one small candle, and the colors are not deep colors. The red looks more like a melon and the yellows and greens look neon. The pink is more like a pastel.Of the “red” candle was 12 oz candle and I used one “heart” of the color.
