I've used this many times now and it is awesome. The quality of the stainless is outstanding - the handle is very nice - easy to grab and hold - but the best part is the pouring spout - OMG, it is PERFECTION. I know that sounds a bit dramatic, but when pouring hot wax, you need the precision. I purchased another one this size and also the 50 oz. Side note: I use 1 pound of flake soy wax at a time - the whole pound does not fit initially, so I use a wide-mouth canning funnel to pour the flakes in until they start melting down. When completely melted, it is about half full.

Product worked well for helping me make the candle pictured with the product. My only complaint is that the pouring pot and the wax that is melting inside of it is not heavy enough to keep it from bouncing around inside the pot of water while it heats. If the water starts to boil even a little, the pouring pot starts bouncing and moving around inside of the pot of water. This being my first time attempting to make my own candles, this freaked me out a little. But despite my worries, the pouring pot did not tip over nor did any wax fly out of it. The handle does stay mostly cool, but I would still recommend using a pot holder to take it out of the water. Do not put the handle over the edge of the water pot on the stove as it is plastic and it will melt. Which means the handle must be in the water too, so it does get a bit warm. The wicks were very easy to use, as were the wick stickers and holders. For the price, you get everything you need and it's decent quality. I did not use the wax that came with it to make my candle. I used the ends of a bunch of old candles that wouldn't light anymore. Clean up was rather easy too which is always a plus. I will be keeping and using this again.

This helped me make less of a mess while making candles — less spills and drips

I needed another pouring pot because I'm just starting to get into making wax melts, and this one caught my eye because of its design. It pours beautifully, and I have a lot less spills pouring with this one compared to a pot with a less defined spout. I also don't have nearly as much trouble with it pouring down the sides of the pot instead of into my molds, which is where the wax should be going in the first place! It is very small and narrower at the top than the bottom so it's a harder to get into to wipe it out when you're done using it. Speaking of small, it can comfortably hold about 10oz of unmelted wax, and I manage to fit 12.5oz in if I'm careful about it. If you want to go up to the 32oz measurement, you'll need to add more wax as it melts.

Be warned, the handle on this pot is not secure! The weight of filling up the jug with wax on the second use caused the handle to come right off! Very small and poor welds. Many reviews also state and show pictures of the handle melting when the description says that its heat resistant. Learn from my and other's mistake, and buy a jug that is ALL stainless steel!

I think it does the job and quite handy but don’t really think that it matches the international standards. Good for beginners tho

The wooden wicks in the kit won’t hold a flame, so once you make candles with them, the whole thing is unusable. Having added essential oils to the candles, means all the wax and oils were completely wasted as well.

it does what it’s supposed to, but didn’t match my expectations for the price they’re asking for it.
