This is an elegant addition to my decor! It functions exactly as expected and makes me feel like a medieval countess snuffing out candles at the end of the day, haha!I do caution you to be very careful as you remove it from the package and don't throw the envelope away until you're certain you've assembled the whole thing. The teeny-tiny nut that holds the bell onto the handle fell off in transit and was in the bottom of the padded envelope, and I almost threw it away!All in all, this is an affordable way to add a little luxury to your life!*DISCLOSURE: Although I received this product as part of the Amazon Vine program, I work hard to review all of my Vine items with integrity and without bias. Needed a snuffer as an alternative to bending the wick into the wax or blowing the flames out. Both of those routes can lead to either soot being in the wax, or blowing soot/wax and making a mess. A snuffer is imho, a cleaner way to put a flame out while avoiding a mess or debris. You can then trim the wick afterwards. This snuffer is aesthetically quite nice looking. Has a nice black finish. Listed as being stainless steel which is nice. The bell has some movement to it, which I suppose can help in some cases. Overall, a simple device, that is quite handy for putting out a candle and keeping things cleaner.Likes:- Stainless steel.- Aesthetically, it looks great - if that matters to you.- Better than blowing soot or wax all over the place.- Better than bending the wick into the wax and having the soot break off in the candle.- Can be dismantled for stowing away.Dislikes:- It's a bit thin. But not really any more so than others I've seen.
