I bought these to mount my Canton oil pan to my Boss 302. They are nice enough and there really isn't anything specifically wrong with them. One thing I wasn't thrilled with is the studs. They are basically just stainless steel set screws. Studs from someone like ARP would have a course thread on the block side and a fine thread for the nut side. For an oil pan it really isn't an issue but I could have just ran to the local hardware store and bought the same stuff. At the end of the day though, there isn't anything wrong with this kit, it just could have been a bit nicer.

These stud were well made and worked great. I normally prefer to use grade 8 or better fasteners, but considering the low torque required for oil pan bolts, stainless will be okay.

The studs made it much easier to get the pan back in place under the car, everything lines up perfect whether you have all the studs in or just a few.

Great stud kit. Came with an extra stud. Would give 5 stars but the kit had (3) 3/8†nuts when they should have been 1/4â€. So the three studs weren’t usable and I didn’t have extras. When you get the kit make sure all the nuts go on ok.

Went to install stud kit, found the studs are all used, still has old lock tite on the treads.
