Your cart is empty.The Capri Tools Double Flaring Tool lets you create perfect 45-degree SAE double flares in half the time compared to old generation flaring tools. Its compact and portable design lets you work both off vehicle and on vehicle, even in tight spots. The die can be detached so you can also work with a bench vise for more grip. The tool works flawlessly with 1/4 in. non-stainless steel, nickel, and copper tubing. This is an all-in-one tool. A 10 mm and a 17 mm wrenches are the only other tools you need to start making perfect double flares.

After trying to use a cheapo kit, and a cal-van hydrulic in-line kit, both of which were nearly useless, This one helped me in a bind.I replaced some lines and ended up using a friends tool truck kit to do them. But had a couple still on vehicle I needed to redo.This worked well and was easy to use/hard to mess up.I used on Nickel copper, but I believe this may do regular steel without much trouble. Although doing steel on the vehicle might be a challange. The handle could stand to be a little longer/bigger and maybe have a lock button to keep it from twisting loose when tightening/loosening the die.Other than that it was an excellent tool and Im happy to keep and use this again!I do wish they offerd it in a full kit with a deburring and cutting tool, case, and multiple heads.For 1/4" lines, give it a shot. And you can remove handle and put it into a vice for even easier work when doing new lines iff vehicle.

Skip the cheap clamp style ones and go for this tool. This actually works and doesn't slide. If you need to straighten a line to make it work you can use small close ended wrenches and bend opposite ways - a little at a time. You can use this tool to clamp down on the out of shape sections so your fitting fits down the line enough to make he flare. Just make sure your line is cut square, is clean, and is not closed in from the cutter. I used a Dremel and a sanding disk to get rid of the indentation and to square it off.. wow. Such a difference!!!!

After hours of trying to do double flares with a flare kit from the parts store and messing up every single one, I found this and decided to give it a try. Literally 5 minutes out of the package and already had one perfect flare! Its small and gets right where it needs to be and only needs 2 wrenches to make it work!!!!

Title says it all. Feels like quality too. I'd buy this over the cheap red double flaring tool kit any day of the week. This WORKS and makes beautiful flare. You can easily work underneath your vehicule or anywere really its so small

Bought this tool to flare copper/nickel 1/4 inch power steering pipes.I am absolutely delighted with it's performance.Perfect flares every time.If you follow the instructions you shouldn't go wrong.

I spent 3 hrs trying to flare some 1/4 brake line on my truck that I needed to add a splice to for a repair. For some reason my regular flare tool refused to hold this steel line when flaring. Some research led me to this. Wow... this thing works and makes far superior flares to the previous tool I had. Very impressed. Dont hesitate. This works and works very well.

It works fine as description but expensive . Wiht this price there is at least a hard case instead just a thin plastic which is easily broken with time .
