Your cart is empty.The Capri Tools 3/8 in. Drive Stubby Impact Socket Set is perfect for working in tight spots. The stubby size is 20% shorter than shallow length sockets. We use premium Chrome Molybdenum steel tempered with our proprietary heat treatment process to make these impact sockets and accessories. They are durable and specifically made to withstand high torque from power tools. Each item is expertly coated with manganese phosphate, the preferred coating in military and aerospace; it offers superior protection and corrosion resistance compared to black oxide coating on other impact sockets. The 6-point WaveDrive design grips fasteners more tightly than traditional design, preventing fastener rounding and giving you more leverage. Meets and exceeds ASME B107.110 standards.

I have mostly Neiko sockets and a lot of harbor freight stuff. These feel very similar to the Neiko sockets and are about 1cm shorter than the standard sockets. I bought them mainly because most sets stop at 3/4 or 19mm in 3/8 drive. These sets went up to 1†and 22mm while also being stubby which is great for bolt heads, not particularly good for nuts that have a bolt coming through though.

This set is a really good starter set. Its build quality is good. Size is perfect for tight areas. Only down side, the outer edge of the sockets are smooth unlike an Astro set of the similar type. Good little set to have around, I usually travel with set in the SAE and metric version and it’s never let me down attached to a Milwaukee impact. I’ve hammered them on and off bolts, no issues whatsoever. Foam holder is good for tool box storage, not so much for a travel bag which I just bought a socket holder.

These be the bomb, nomsayin? Nah regrats. Fuh real.Even if you aren’t a Carnie and you do have some regrets, this won’t be one of them. Sometimes you need a really short socket but still have to put serious torque on it, and these are the ones you’re looking for. I have used impact guns on these until the bolts broke off but the sockets aren’t even scratched. The black coating (phosphate?) has held up great so far and the white size markings are still bright and clear after a year of use. I came back looking for my purchased items because I’m hoping to find some bigger metric sizes from the same brand.

Haven’t used them yet but when I do need that thin socket in a tight space this will be great. I like the size selection with this set as well. For the price it’ll be nice to have in the toolbox!

They all have 22mm height. Measure your regular sockets and think if you really need them.
