Get your 98209800, 98209803, or 98209804 Air Relief Valve back in working order with the Captain O-Ring rebuild kit. Contains five full rebuild sets to get you back up and running and to keep spares on hand. This kit contains five (5) sets of the three (3) o-rings needed to rebuild your valve, a total of fifteen (15) o-rings. The large o-ring fits onto the bottom threads of the valve where it screws into your filter tank. The small and medium o-rings fit onto the valve stem. Check out the photos for each o-ring's location.

I had an issue with a leaking pressure relief valve causing water to leak and air to get into my filter housing. I found these and simple instructions on YouTube on how to repair the valve. These fit perfectly and resolved my problem for a fraction of the cost of a replacement valve.

it is simple to swap out the orings in the valve. And this facilitates that on the cheap. The orings seem to fail in these things in a few months, so this product can keep you away from leaks for a goos long while...

Had a leak on pentair filter from the pressure valve on top of the tank. Went to 3 different pool shops and no one sells only these O rings. They only sold a replacement for the whole unit at 50 dollars. Found these and they work perfectly to replace the 3 o rings on the relief valve. Can’t speak on longevity but they fixed my problem.

This let me fix the valve leak on my pool filter. Disassembly was a little tricky but I like that with this kit I can repair the valve many times over for less than a full replacement.
