The AO-WH-LG-OR is often referred to as “Large 4.5” O-Ring” by the manufacturer because it is compatible with the AO Smith AO-WH-PREL and Lowes Project Source PS-WHL-H filter housings that uses 4.5 inch wide filter cartridges. This o-ring size is not compatible with the smaller “standard” AO Smith housings that use 2.5 inch filter cartridges.

The filters last but the o-rings always go to poop. these are a must have to replace when the filter o-ring goes bad.

These o-rings appear to be made of high-quality material and are a good fit for my whole-house filter. The filter housing is made by OmniFilter, but I cannot identify the model number because the labels have worn off and there is no direct equivalent in what is now the current Pentair lineup. (My guess, however, would be the BF7.) No leaks so far, and I do not expect any problems down the road. Recommended!

I got these specifically as replacement o-rings for my three stage whole house filter setup.While I have not destroyed any yet, it's good to have some on standby - just in case.Buna is a good material for an o-ring and I believe that is what came with the filter canisters which use 2 o-rings each.These are one of those things that when you need one - you need it NOW.Very good deal for this set of three o-rings. Easy to recommend.
