Strong and easy to hold. They do leave a perforated mark in the material and these do not give a perfectly smooth finished material which was of no consequence to me and it really get the sound deadener smooshed onto the metal.

I installed sound deadening material in my whole trunk and on the rear deck below the back glass and these tools were very helpful. Great value for the money

Roller is sturdy allowing for even downward pressure. The plastic handle is hollow.
