This tray was easy to install and met all my needs for our trip back home.My only complaint is the cup holder with the brace doesn't hold much of anything drink wise, like you have to squish a skinny redbull can to make it fit. It didn't bother me too much though and I just used the cupholder in the car door but if you were using this tray for a child I could definitely see it being an annoyance, especially if they can't reach any of the cupholders already in the car.

I got this device for my kids to use to put their tablet on, or color while driving. I like that the rubber mat is easily removable in case they want to color or need a smooth surface for drawing.Most of the item is alrealdy assembled with the exception of a few additional pieces. The instructions could be a little more clear in demonstrating assembly and how everything works, eventually you pick up on it after playing around with it.Initially I wasn't sure what the sliding locking mechanism was for in the front of the tray. I thought maybe that's what locked the tray in place after extending it outward, but eventually I realized it's when you fold the tray up it will lock it in the upward position. Also a sponge comes inside the drink holder, im not sure if this is just for shipping or if it serves another purpose. Maybe a link in the instructions to a YouTube video of assembly and a quick demo of the product would help.The device has simple design and made of plastic. The only area any metal exists is in the screws that secure the headrest attachment in place.The instructions do mention it is recommended not to use while driving due to drinks spilling, but just don't use drinks on it while driving? Maybe it's more of a blanket statement as it hasn't been tested in an accident. Personally I am a little concerned of it being used in the event of an accident, but the area that locks the tray from folding up is just thin plastic that slides down. It seems more to hold it in place from bumps, and can easily break pulling up on it with medium force. I also noticed putting the locking mechanism down only halfway still holds it in place but would give way easier and fold up if a passanger went into it during an accident. Not sure how much of a difference it will really make, but I plan to just make an effort to put the locking device halfway down so in the worst case scenario it will give easier.One note, I noticed another reviewer mentioned about the phone holder not fitting their phone. Not sure if it was overlooked or maybe an older model, but the right side arm on mine extends quit far when pulled on it, and it is under spring tension to retract and hold the phone in snuggly. The left side doesn't extend, so maybe their was some confusion on its design.

The seat tray table from AUEOTUAR is basically the Swiss army knife of car seat tables. This thing can be folded up when not in use and folded down to reveal a nice big surface with rubber mat. The mount has so much adjustability that it is sort of overwhelming to move things. It seems like everything has an adjustment and each adjustment piece has a way of locking it out.To start off this unit mounts to the pegs of your car's headrest using two hook clips. Two sizes of rubber inserts are provided to create a snug fit between the metal of your headrest peg and the hook shaped grabbers. These hooked shaped pieces of plastic can be fully removed and inserted and they click in a satisfying ratcheting way locking it into position. The height of the table is also adjustable up and down but I found that if you do drop the table down that in order to use the locking mechanism for when it's folded up you will need to bring it back up as the hole of the pin at the top of the mount wont mount up with the recieving hole on the table itself.There are two pegs with rubberized feet that protrude out of the back of the table surface to provide additional stability by pushing up against the back of your seat. Additionally there is also a elastic rope that is provided that can go around your car seat and hook onto these rubber end pieces to add yet another contact point keeping the table taught with the seat.The table itself is packed with features. First it is able to pull out towards the user bringing the surface closer and revealing two cup holders (one with a fold out holder arm for stabilizing taller water bottles inside of the right cup holder). There are two trays that can pull out from either side of the large surface that can act as a place to smaller accessories although I would not trust to put any significant amount of weight on it as it isn't the most sturdy. One flaw that I saw with these pullout trays was that I am generally only able to use one side of the tray as the other one will run into the door handle or hit the door, so unless I have the car door opened I can only really use the left side tray (mounted on the passenger seat). What I also found pretty neat about this tray table was that it has a little fold out clamp for your cellphone which can be amazing for watching shows or scrolling social media while having a meal on it.Overall this is a versatile little foldaway table. Although it doesnt feel the sturdiest I think this will do in a pinch if you need a surface to put your laptop on or if you just want to have a meal in the back of your car. I found that the rubber surface mat tends to want to fall out especially when the tray is folded up but other than that everything seems to be holding up fine. I would caution to put too much weight on it though, as it is made entirely of plastic. Although I think the price of $50 (at time of review) is a bit high for such a product, it is super handy and can fold out of your way when not needed.
