It's quite close, but not identical, to OEM battery mount.Works just like OEM though, and especially since OEM is either going to be overpriced or you may need to wait who knows how long after you fill out an order with your local dealership, it'll work just fine.Somehow, though, this kit doesn't really feel like a bargain compared to OEM. The centerpiece is $6, for example, and the bolts are $10 each, and nuts are $2 each...Eh, doesn't matter. It is definitely more convenient and it is good enough.

This was exactly what I needed to replace the missing one from my daughter's CX-9. Easy install, perfect fit, works great, paint or powder coat seems good, best deal I could find that I could be pretty sure would fit.

OEM replacement. Seems to be good quality. The brand new battery looks so good now. The old hold down I had was corroded badly.
