I really want to like this camera, especially for the price... but I think I'm going to have to return it for one simple reason: the "night vision" is a very sensitive camera, no IR illuminator. My vehicle interior is very dark, so can't see baby without overhead lights. I'm going to experiment more tomorrow, but either mine is broken or the feature does not exist.On the positive: the headrest clamp mount works well and makes for a stealthy, classy, mount. Haven't tried the included dash stand, but that's due to not wanting to mar up the fake leather even with 3M VHB tape. The wiring is plenty long and only requires one 12V CLA socket, which I'm glad is in the console since the red power light is kinda bright.So only middle-of-road rating from me, but mostly due to my own situation... If no follow-on review it was because I couldn't figure out if mine is defective or just doesn't come with its own (invisible) light source. Hope this helps or someone can tell me the secret.Edit 2024-05-26:After excellent support from Luckview, I've added a star. The solution to camera in total darkness is to get the Luckview BM1. It has two internal IR illumination LEDs which provide perfect vision in total darkness. The BM2 is slightly more modern in its mounting, but the BM1 has better night vision. All other controls and screen options seem about the same, and both work well enough for me to recommend to friends and family.I hope this helps someone decide. This is such a phenomenal camera at a fantastic price point. The photo quality is pristine, I love how you can alter the orientation of the picture. Setup and installation was a breeze! Functions perfectly and was so much less expensive than I would have expected for such great quality. Thank you!

Ordered camera to view children in the back seat without having to turn completely around. This product is great.Camera Quality: during the day this camera has amazing picture. It is like looking in a mirrorNight Vision: Night vision is ok. The glares from lights are pretty large and the vision is pretty dark and can barely see the baby.Installation: extremely easy to install. Just clipped right onto the headrest with easy. The cords are really long, I was able to have it plugged into the front outlet of my truck and have the wires go under the floor mats and behind the seat to the rear head rest of a crew cab truck.Screen: the screen is big enough to see with ease but not too big to impede my view out of the front windshield. And sticks great to the dash.Overall product is great just doesn’t have the best night vision, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

The Pet Camera was very easy to install and the quality of the image on the display is excellent. The cable length that connects the display to the camera is long so you have options to install the camera on other headrests besides the driver seat. This extra length is ideal for SUVs or Vans with 3 rows of seats. Also ideal to watch a child in a car seat that is facing the back of the vehicle. The camera angle/view captured the entire backseat to watch a pet of child. The camera also worked well on a 3 row golf cart to view the back 2 rows. The instructions for the setup of the camera was also very easy to follow. I highly recommend the Pet Camera for anyone looking for such a device for a car, SUV, van or golf cart.

We purchased this to keep an eye out on our new baby in the car. I went to install this in my car, and the cable is too short. The cable needs about 5 extra feet to allow better access to the back seat. I have a 2 row Subaru Forester, and I do not feel like it is that far of a distance to the backseat, but it barely reached. I obviously don't want a wire hanging out in the middle of my car, but that seems like the only way that this will reach.Given my car set up, I also have to connect it to the middle seat vs the seat with the car seat. As such, I wanted to have the camera face a certain direction for a more straight on view of baby, but the image is upside down. I went through all of the settings and there is no way to rotate the camera view on the screen, so I had to turn it 180% so the image was correct on the screen. Given the design of the camera, this should be a standard feature as it is now causing me to view the seat at a weird angle.The image quality seems pretty nice though, but the major logistical flaws that cannot be overlooked. As such, I am returning the camera and looking for a better alternative.

I really thought this was a 5 star camera. I mean, I can even see her breathing on the monitor. Daytime picture quality is top notch. But I recently drove at night with babe, and it was absolutely terrible. I couldn't even see a figure. I had to keep turning my car light on just to check on her.

This is my second Lucky View camera purchase and it absolutely did not disappoint. The instructions and set up were very clear and easy. All the wires were labeled and easy to attach. The video clarity is the best on the market. I’ve tried other brands, and continue to use their products. Throw away the cheap mirror, and get this camera to have a clear, live view of your child both day and night.

Very easy to set up, with secure attachment equipment.I like the large screen. Crystal clear image during the day -very easy to see!However, I wish I could say the same for the night vision view. It's grainy and not as clear as I would have liked.Long cords for easy placement, but it would have been nicer if it was wireless.The zoom function is good, along with the big red button for power on/off.Overall, a good value.

Just got this baby camera and installed it in my van. I'm very pleased that the cord is long enough to be able to install it in the back row if needed, no problem.The camera is nice and small, and easily attaches to the headrest.As soon as I turned it on, I was surprised by how clear the picture quality is! The monitor size is perfect, too.So far I am enjoying using this much more than the old mirror I was using.Highly recommend!
