Set up CarPlay
1. Start your car, then make sure that Siri is on.
2. Connect your iPhone to your car:
· If your car supports CarPlay with a USB cable, plug your iPhone into the USB port in your car. The USB port might be labeled with a CarPlay icon or a smartphone icon. Be sure to use an USB C to USB cable.
· If your car supports CarPlay both wirelessly and with a USB cable, plug your iPhone into the USB port in your car. An alert on your iPhone will offer to connect you wirelessly on your next drives.
*Note: If you experience issues with CarPlay function, please try to reverse the USB C plug to try again. Feel free to contact us if any further problem. We will always be here to help.

This cable charges and passes data. Not all USB-A to USB-C cables do. Needed to connect my iPhone 16 to CarPlay. Adapter may not work. The cable is built well and a great value.

The biggest thing for me was a cable that activated the carplay in my wife's car! Taking it out of the package, you can tell it's a strong, durable cable and not just a cheap knock-off. Within a few moments, the cable found connectivity and the carplay was completely functional. We had gone through two "premium" cables with no luck, and we were convinced it was a stereo issue since it never worked with the new IPhones since we switched from Android. But this did it!Worth a buy.

Great cable for iPhone 16 where you need a USB-C connector if you have an older media player in your vehicle. This was the cable that worked best consistently. Prior to buying this, I tried USB to USB-C adapters and other cables with USB-C connectors but all have failed except this one. I would highly recommend this cable if you want your iPhone 16 to connect consistently and without any problems.

Tried using for CarPlay. Definitely doesn’t work. Read it one time and shut down after a second. Charging works regular.

The end started to break down after about 6 uses in the car. Once that started happening I started losing connection with car play again. That is the problem I had with the cable this replaced. Car play seems to be very sensitive about the cable being used.Update:Customer service is great. They contacted me after my initial review and offered me a refund so I went from 3 to 4 stars because I appreciate good customer service. It isn’t usually very good these days.
