For an aftermarket power/charger cord this is well built & convenient way to charge a Uniden/Bearcat radio. The only drawback is that it is a bit hard to grip when extracting it from the outlet. I remedied that drawback by adding a couple of silicone o-rings to the handle. Works perfect now.

I like the coiled cord. Meets my expectations. So far has lasted a few months. Hope it will keep working another few years.

Unit does not charge my BC396T. I checked the voltage with a DVM and it is zero. Also, the connector does not fit correctly.So now, I have to waste time printing up a return label, finding an envelope big enough to hold it, and sending it back to get my ten bucks.Bad!

gave improper voltage to my scanner. Description listed indicated it was for the Uniden BCD396T. I have not been able to use it on this scanner.
