Several months ago I purchased a window shade for my vehicle and to my surprise I received this free gift, a non slip dashboard pad. This pad is amazing, the adhesive is great and I place my iPhone on its side and it stays in place! no problems whatsoever! I have had this pad on my dashboard now for several months and it leaves no residue. So I was wanting to purchase more of these pads and I came across this particular item. I received it today and they are horrible! They do not stick to the dashboard and pad is terribly thin. This product should not be sold! Buyer beware.

Did not stick to the dash. I purchased for two reasons. One for the car and absolute no go.Two, for our fitness class. Another instructor recommended using these to keep the aerobic steps from sliding, this brand was not the one. Very thin and cheaply made. If your dashboard is textured it won’t work!

As others have described it does not stick to the dash after a short amount of time and leaves a gummy residue I am now unable to get off. The top side is extremely sticky which can be overcome by placing items at the edge, I actually like how sticky it is and leaves no residue. The bottom side at 1st stuck semi-OK but very quickly lost it's stickiness as all the adhesion stayed on my dash. I would expect this to happen in the hot Florida sun but I'm in Alaska.... and it's been a cold summer!
