Great product perfect fit, looks close to OEM, the parking break button is prone to chipping/cracking and probably the most touch button on the car other than the lunlock button. Make sure you pop your original first before you buy to ensure the proper type. I bought the long legged one before I realized this and had to reorder the correct one.

It's a shame that BMW can some times use crappy parts for their expensive cars. Dealers will charge an arm and a leg to replace this part. Just go on Youtube and find a quick and easy tutorial. Save hundreds like I did.

2013 X3 M Sport long pin version. Very nice for the price. Way cheaper than a new switch assembly. You do see the little red lamp when engaged (some don't). There are some youtube videos showing how to swap (some good some bad). IMO the best way is...Put painters tape covering chrome piece at rear of switch.....**while pressing button down**....pry behind red light on switch using medium flat blade screwdriver....switch will pop right out.

The automotive recommendation for my car on the site for this item says use the short prong, however, during the very easy installation, I learned my car has the long prongs. So my advise is to pull the switch you have to see which it is... BMW may have changed them along the way... Otherwise, looks great and the right one is a perfect!

Plain black button not like original part, better to get one that allows light from the on/off led through
