These remotes and key are just like original. Once I had the key cut at my local ACE hardware I was able to program them in minutes. Then I got the programer to do the remotes and they work great

The keys came fast and programming them was easy. Getting the keys cut was a problem. You have to go to a locksmith unless you have your own key cutting machine. The locksmith wanted $30.00 a key and they needed to be programmed as well. But overall a great product.

I have a 2011 GMC Acadia. When I scanned the code for programming instructions it stated I needed to use a locksmith or dealer. I used the locksmith. He simply used the original key to turn on the ignition but "DID NOT" start the vehicle. He let all the dash lights come on and set. Then he turned the ignition off and immediately put in the new key and turned on the ignition as before. Then he turned it off and used new key to start the vehicle. Since I had already had the key cut this cost me 10 bucks instead of the 35 I had been quoted on the phone. It was worth it to learn how to do the programming. I had two new keys. I programmed the second one myself. Super easy. Well worth the money.

I have got the mystery solved for a lot of other people. You can take these keys to any hardware store that have a key duplication machine and get the physical keys cut! The one I took it to was so bored in life (JK they were amazing!) they did it for me for free! It's that easy! I just used instructions from message boards to introduce the newly cut physical keys to my car and both the new keys and the original key work my car now. However the electronic part needs to be programmed for which you can either buy a one time programmer online or the more expensive programming devices that work with multiple vehicles through the OBD 2 port. I still need to program mine, haven't done enough research on that part yet, but having two more keys available provides great peace of mind.

Got these for my wifes Yukon mainly so she could start the thing and warm it up before having to leave on cold mornings. The auto start doesn't work, it opens the back hatch when ever it feels like it.Other than that it works great, I've changed the battery twice in 3 years.

Was kind of nervous buying these but for $30 I said F it. It’s better than spending $400 at the dealership. Go to your local lumber yard and get the keys cut. WATCH YOUTUBE videos on how to do this. Helps so much. Only had one key and remote , now I have three keys and remotes all work for an 07 Chevy Tahoe. Took me less than 5mins to do the programming. One thing I will say, one you program one remote, you have to reprogram the old one also. Worth the buy, will buy again for sure & yes it does have a chip in it so it will worth. Like I said watch YouTube videos . It’s two of them out there for existing remotes (add one) or newly keys.

EXTREMELY easy to program in my 2007 Impala. Navigate to Relearn Remote on the car's cluster screen using the vehicle info button and press the check mark button. The car cluster will beep. Push and hold Lock and Unlock on the remote until the clustet beeps again and you're done!
