I needed a touch up repair paint for my 2024 Tesla Model Y painted Stealth Grey. I didn't choose to purchase the Tesla paint repair kit because it was more expensive than other options and it contained other items in the kit I didn't need and wouldn't be using. Unlike other automobile models, there aren't a lot of good non-Tesla options when it comes to selecting touch up paint. My local auto parts store didn't even carry any of the Tesla paint matches. So, after looking at all the choices on Amazon I finally selected this Coslake branded paint and it was a huge mistake. Not only was the paint extremely difficult to work with; it was, way too viscous and did not flow well nor evenly into the well-prepped scratch line I was trying to fill in with the paint. No matter how much I worked with it applying it in a fashion that strived for a smooth finish after multiple steps of wet sanding with grit ranging from 400 to 5000; I was never able to form it into anything resembling a smooth line that evenly matched the surrounding original paint finish. But, as if that wasn't a big enough problem, the biggest sin of all is the paint color in no way matches the original Tesla Stealth Grey. After application the paint dried to a shade of grey that is so much lighter than the darker grey of the original paint of the Stealth Grey of the Tesla factory paint that it stands out in contrast to the point of complete distraction - that is unforgivable! DO NOT BUY THIS PAINT! It is a waste of money and your precious time.

I’m pretty good with my hands and know a thing or two about car fixing. This was by far just a white out pen kids use for homework on your car. The scratch was dim and it highlighted the detail even further making scratch more noticeable. Will try to remove it and get it repaired professionally.

Have a new grey model 3 so I haven't had a chip yet but wanted to have a paint set just in case, knowing Tesla paint is easily chipped.The kit includes a paint pen and a brush. And the grey paint color matches almost perfectly to the original, even has the sparkles, as you can see from the picture. Will come in handy when I eventually get a chip.

This colour is not the same of the tesla 2024 grey stealth. I did a touch up and it clear than the rest of the car! Now I have to take my car to a paint shop to fix it
