Installed the carburetor, and saw ran better than new. Can't believe the value came with new spark plug ,air filter, fuel filter, new gas line all for less than $20.00

Bought this kit for a 450 model saw. The fuel lines don't work for this model. This module requires specific molded fuel lines. Once the carb was installed and new plug put in I fired it up and it ran terrible then would cut off after 6 seconds or so. Tried adjusting the car but nothing changed. I tried my old spark plug in the saw as a last effort and the thing came to life. Carb seems to be working great but the fuel lines were useless and the spark plug was a dud.

Carburetor works fine. My local Husky dealer wanted over $60 for a carburetor plus about $80 for shop time to install. Ridiculous!I am no mechanic but found the carb easy to install. If you are leery about the install there are lots of how to videos on youtube plus take pictures of the process of uninstalling the old carb.

This replaced the original carb and spark plug. No issues with it. Saw starts on first pull now and stays running without issue. Bought another one for the week whacked without hesitation after this.
