I discovered I needed this part after grinding noise from my brakes directed me to replace breaking pads on front wheels. It turned out only one out of 4 pads was worn to the metal while others were still OK . I installed new pads but found out one of them was very hard to insert into bracket, it jammed and was misaligned as a result. Of course it was position where over-worn pad stood (it was difficult to remove as well).Caliper bracket from Cardone was perfect replacement - all dimensions and surfaces met OEM part so this replacement was a snap.No jam and misalignment anymore,just smooth motion of pads in lubricated guides.(silicone grease for them also enclosed) I wish I knew that before a heard this grinding noise, so I had to replace warped rotor as well . And yes, again from Amazon.That's $ 50 total but it was worth doing !

Product fit 08 civic with no issues. Had seized slide pin on front right passenger side caliper bracket. Civic is back in action!

Fit 2009 Civic Coupe EX-L Front Discs just fine. My old caliper bracket had seized caliper pins that I didn't have the tools to remove, this was a cheap replacement option and looked "new".

I was very disappointed because I had ordered two for my 2004 Honda Civic. One was plaited the other one was raw iron! The part was well made and they're installed in my vehicle however I'm very disappointed because someone that's played is not showing any type of corrosion whatsoever while the other one is already showing the show some corrosion with rust. I should have sent it back but I had to get install them right away the ones originally that came with the car was bound up real tight.
