Strip is 16' long with a 26" long wire lead and can easily be trimmed to fit. Comes with a 2-prong plug for replacement on Carefree awnings, or for use with Lippert and Dometic awnings, simply cut off the 2-prong plug and connect to wires using the included butt-splice wire connectors.

Insane some LED strip lights that coat half of what these cost, but I bought these anyway, and I'm so glad I did! Once I pulled the old lights out of the awning channel and cleaned up and prepped the surface for the new, these went in with absolutely no problem. The fit is exact, and the prewired end just needed to be plugged in. The excess wire tucks easily into the roller tube and the lights are bright and clear. Very happy with this purchase.

The lights were the right configuration but would fit into the track so I simply used the adhesive tape on the lights and put them right under the track. They went up well and work great.

There are dozens of similar items on Amazon, but if you are more interested in camping than in fiddling with LED's, this is the item I recommend. First, this is a one for one replacement for most new camper/RV LED awning lights out there. Please take a look at the connector of your existing unit. If it matches the "D" pin connector, this light strip will drop in and match perfectly- just pull out the old connector and pug in the new ones. Second, take your time cleaning the channel after you remove the old strip. I recommend cleaning it with rubbing alcohol and rags to get all the old " sticky" off. If you thoroughly clean the track and let it dry, the attached 3M adhesive strip is a breeze to replace. Please remember this is contact sensitive adhesive, so make sure you press in the new light strip firmly to ensure a good grip. Finally, light output is very good, although " reading" is a stretch.

*Update* I was finally able to reach Carefree and they sent a replacement “as a courtesy†even though it was well within the warranty replacement window. They wanted me to return through Amazon even though it was past the Amazon return window AND the lights were already installed. Advice? Order directly from Carefree! These lights were delivered on May 2, 2023. I'm sure we didn't install them for at least a month. Its been a little less than 5 months since they were installed and the lights are already starting to go out. We hardly ever use these as we are full time RV'ers and we go to bed early. We aren't sitting outside late at night where we have the awnings out and lights on. I'm very disappointed in the quality and want a replacement from Carefree. I have tried to reach them before and it is impossible! No one answers, calls not returned, can't submit the online for because it requires you to have the serial number which I no longer have the packaging that might have had the serial number. Incredibly frustrating all around!!
