It's mostly for toilets and doesnot scratch the bowl. A fressh one is good for other cleaning, like inside pitchers or vases or hatd to reach places. A Very inexpensive and indespensible kitchen tool.

I used to work in housekeeping and we had these type mops for the toilets. I noticed mold growing under the rim of our toilet and no matter how I tried using the brush I couldn't get to it. I decided to buy this mop for that reason and it worked fine. The downside with a brush is if you try to use it under the rim you end up getting splashed with bowl cleaner. With this mop I won't have to worry about that. It's a good sturdy mop almost like the ones I used back when.

Great professional toilet bowl wand to clean the toilet. Caveat the polyester materials that the fluffy end is made of will retain water so tap it out on the edge of the toilet before storing it in a cup. Keep mouth closed & we're safety goggles.

Ironically, I bought this specifically to clean out a 5 gallon bucket. However....For the necessary frequent upkeep required to keep a water toilet sparkly,#1, it doesn't have bristles that can spring back and flick water and, um, stuff#2 (pun not intended) you can push most of the water out of the bowl, then use a paper towel or three to sop up the remaining small amount (so your CLR won't be diluted), then,...then.... use clr full strength, wait a few minutes for the hardwater deposits to laugh at the clr, then flush and replunge empty, and go to town with a block of pumice.Alternate or whatever, pumice, clr, etc. until satisfied.Once your toilet is clean enough for the dog to drink out of again, read Jenkins humanure and be prepared for a paradigm shift.

I use this to sanitize my fermentation vessels with StarSan. It holds the sanitizer very well for distribution inside the ferment containers. I even bought myself a spare I like it so much.
