This lobby style dustpan is the real deal. It seems plenty solid and works like a champ. The rubber edge seals well even to rough concrete and leaves only a small "scum line" when sweeping up debris. Back it up once, sweep, and no more line. The handle can lock in place (my dustpan was delivered with the handle installed backwards but it can be easily inverted) with the pan down and the handle up, and stays put. It can also be stored with the pan pointed up against a wall without kicking out. The upper front edge of the handle beam has a serrated edge to scrape off fun stuff like cobwebs. If I had to complain about something it would be that the handle is a little short, but I'm only 5'6" and it's not too short for me. If you felt the need, the handle is a standard broom post, threaded into the cross-beam, that you could always replace with a longer pole. The top end of the pole even has a plastic fitting with a hole for hanging, and will rotate without the full handle rotating. All in all a great patio tool for the price; you will love it.

I was a bit surprised, because I expected the whole this to be metal, but only the handle is. However the plastic basket does make it much lighter weight, which is a plus. It is easy to use, very sturdy, rests flush to the ground, and requires no bending!

I'm not crazy about the way the collection basket gets locked into position - and you need to step on it to pop the handle into different position. I prefer the type where gravity does the job... when you lift it up, the basket automatically swings into upright position - and when you set it down, it automatically positions horizontally to pick up debris. Someone might have a need for one that locks into position, but that person isn't me.

Reasonable price, sturdy, yet light weight.

Nice deep pan - but read carefully, this does not include the broom

What I really love is that what you sweep up goes into the dustbin and not under it. Well made, handle the right height, good sized dustbin area. I would definitely buy again and recommend.

Good quality. Had it for over a year and no problems. The bottom of pan is flush with my hardwood floor so it picks everything up on the first sweep. Only thing is you have to press hard with your foot to disengage from the upright position. It’s made of sturdy materials so it’s not as light to carry around.

It is as it was described. It works very well for people who can't bend, for any reason, to hold a regular dustpan. You don't leave an irritating little line of dirt behind. Took a couple of tries before I had emptying it down pat. I would recommend it for any one who has difficulty bending over with a regular dust pan.I was frustrated that FedEx left it outside by my garage (not connected to my house) instead of bringing it up to the porch. It was a very light package but rather awkward to carry in one hand.

Got this dust pan and small broom combo. Its not bad just a cheap thing to help me clean up around the house with out having to bend over all the time. Works as expected and picks up the dirt I put in with the small little broom that came with it. Over all I am fairly happy with this purchase, thanks

This one picks up great. I do not need to repeat a few sweeps to get the dirt/dust of the floor. My wife loved it too.

very flimsy where the pan locks into the handle. In fact only locks 10 % of the time. Not a good choice for me.
