I knew I needed this hardware kit because my previous attempt to remove the drum failed. The drum was deeply grooved and had a lip on the edge which caught the brake shoes. After cutting the retaining pins, loosening the self-adjuster, and fighting with it, I finally got the drum off. After cleaning everything I was ready to reassemble it when I saw the parts in the box did not match the part number. I verified this on the Carlson website as shown in the picture. I received a parts bag with the large yellow and green springs, but should have received the other parts kit as also shown on the Amazon listing. So this brought my project to a halt until I could purchase another kit locally.I hope they see this review and take measures to verify the correct parts are in the boxes. Previously I've had no issues with this brand.

fits my 2008 corolla S drum brake. seem as good or better than oem.
