Installed this on a 2003 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 with 10 inch drums. Hardest part is getting the springs on and off. Get a drum brake tool which makes it pretty easy. Have to put the brakes back in the proper order which will save you time and grieve. Clean out the brake with brake cleaner before you start installing. There are two parts that don't come in this kit, they are the strut and the parking brake lever. You will have to clean the old ones off and reuse, but no problem with that. Otherwise everything fit and works great and is just like new.

2000 FORD RANGER 3.0 4X4 WITH 10" BIG BRAKES. EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR BACK AXLE REAR BRAKE SHOE JOB.. all parts seemed too match up perfect.. well the springs, adjusters and important stuff i needed.. I didnt use all of them.. Mostly just need new adjusters and springs.. but so far its working fine..

Please verify that the parts you receive match exactly what is in the picture before you install them. I received this kit and it's the right part number but what was in the box doesn't match. I purchased this for a 2001 ford ranger 10 inch brakes. What was in the box was for a chrysler mini van. I am an ASE technician and have used carlson products for a long time with no problems. I see that a few people who have used this kit have been having problems or the pieces didn't match. This Might Explain why. Either these are packaged wrong or they have been labeled wrong. I have a second kit coming well see what's in it. Once again what's pictured is correct and what's in the box must match exactly or don't try to install it.--------------------------------------------------I received the second kit today and it was exactly like the picture and all of the pieces were in it. I havnt installed it yet but it should work fine.

I only bought this package cuz I needed one piece in there and I couldn't find it anywhere else so all I can say is the piece I needed work good the rest is in a bag on my shelf maybe they'll come in handy later
