Fantastic set of yarn to gift to a beginner crocheter Good soft yarn, well saturated colors, and a wide array of colors. Each skein is a good size for a smaller project. Smooth, isnt overly prone to knotting and can be washed without fading or deforming.

My son was given an art project requiring different colors of yarn. This set provided all he needed to complete it. A wide variety of colors in a nice amount of soft yarn. Great set for the money.

For the price, it’s pretty nice. You get different colors, very good for smaller projects, especially those colors that you know you won’t need much. The yarn is usable, but the quality is just fine. Also, it’s thinner than other medium-weight yarns I used, I recommend a maximum 3.5mm hook. (I used a 3.5mm hook for the star but I think a smaller hook would be better). Not very soft as well. It’s 20g/58m/63yds each, actually last a little bit longer than I thought.

My niece loves it. I got her them for her birthday. The yarn is soft and durable. The yarn didn’t split and the accessories for crocheting work. Definitely has a bunch of fun bright colors.

So I took up the art of crochet! Not ashamed at all. Yes, I’m a middle-aged man and I crochet like my grandmothers & mother combined. I was inspired by my daughter & others to give it a go - needed to have a new productive hobby as I’m stuck in my home due to cancer & all its fun ! Upon finding out my goal, my mother got me this as a gift & to this day, I still use some of the yarn that is left, I definitely use all of the Hooks & Stitch Markers among other items. When you begin crocheting you have to learn a lot of basic techniques that make you want to throw everything across the room for the first 6 months. (Throwing yarn is not such a bad thing to have if you throw things) But the quality of the hooks is very nice, they’re still going strong. Not cheap & hand not bent or broken yet. Some do, trust me. The yarn is easy to use for the initial patterns for beginners & the entire package fits into the nice bag that comes with it. Now I’m sure crochet fans have better things to say or explain so you will recognize how good this is for beginners; but I hope you get the idea from a guy that’s been crocheting for quite a while now and moved beyond beginner stage. It’s great for stress relief, to stop the mind from circling and spinning out of control because if you lose track of your count, you are screwed. I love this package & will keep on using it.

The colors are a little off - not bright but more dull than expected especially the yellow. Yarn is not quite worsted weight but thinner. It is good for crafting, but not as soft as I would have liked. I needed the colors, so I kept it but wouldn't order again.

Just received my yarn. They are perfect for my puff stitch flower blanket I'm making. This is ideal for small projects. Not sure how many little flowers it will make but by the size of the bundles I'm guessing maybe 4 to 5 possibly a few more🙃 Happy with the purchase. So had to change from 4 to 5 stars since I've used some of the yarn and 1 bundle will make 14 puff stitch flowers. Again, perfect for my project.

Caron Simply Soft is my favorite brand of yarn. It’s so lightweight, soft and it’s so durable. It’s stretchy enough to give comfort to whatever you’re making and it flows through the needle flawlessly. It also rarely tangles which is so important to me when making a project (costume, blanket, hat, etc.). I bought this mini set because I often find I need a small amount of yarn to finish a project. It does just the trick. I recently used the green to finish my son’s Halloween costume and it came out great. I highly recommend getting this kit!

As someone who crochets, I needed a vast array of colours to make some keychains. The yarn is a small weight but very durable and easy to crochet with. I used a 3mm crochet hook and I had no problem maintaining a consistent and neat pattern. Nice array of colours, I definitely recommend.

Nice colours, haven't worked (crotched) with them yet to be fair. I ordered this pack for delivery in 2-3 days, then received confirmation that it was coming from Wisconsin in the US!!! two weeks later. Reordered the same product and got it in two days, weird.I bought them as colour samples before commencing a large blanket, and they were a good guide on the whole but you can;t order larger balls for the same colours so they won't be use for intended purpose. I'll do something else with them.
